By converting waste into new products, we are able to create more jobs, build more competitive recycling and remanufacturing (reuse) based companies. This directly brings economic benefits for us, the country as well as the environment. If we support reusing and recycling waste, we are able to present a significant force in our country's economy and make a vital contribution to job creation and economic development.   Under the project , Alam Flora Sdn. Bhd. is currently buying back recycables from schools in Petaling Jaya at the price of as follows: a) Newspaper - RM 0.20/kg b) White paper - RM 0.30/kg c) Mix paper - RM 0.15/kg d) Magazine - RM 0.20/kg e) Plastic bottle (No 1 - No 7) - RM 0.40/kg f) Paper box - RM 0.15/kg g) Metal cans - RM 0.20/kg h) TetraPak - RM 0.40/kg i) Alluminium cans - RM2.50/kg * price of the recyclables are subject to change to the market price
