Save your Money, don't  change electrical appliances every year ! Donate old and unused electronics !   Stop using Styrofoam ! B.Y.O.C or Dine in the restaurant ! Buy household products in Bulk or Large packages and Plan your Shopping lists !
Avoid items that are used once and then thrown away
Compost your Garden and Food Wastes ! Borrow books or magazines instead of buying. DONATE old books or Sell it to recycling centers ! RECYCLE it !
Think and Act Wisely ! Buy Durable and Long lasting Products ! Choose Recyclable or Refillable container products. Avoid CFC products ! Spend Less ! Use Less ! Waste Less ! Pollute Less !
Segregate your household wastes. Plant more trees to absorb carbon dioxide. Buy less stuff! Buy second hand.

Basic tips to help stop climate change:
 
  • Change a light – replacing a regular light bulb with compact fluorescent saves 150 pounds of carbon dioxide each year.
  • Drive less – walk, bike, carpool, use public transport and transit can help reduce gas consumption and one pound of carbon dioxide for each mile you do not drive.
  • Recycle more and buy recycled – save up to 2400 pounds of carbon dioxide each year just by recycling half of your household waste. By recycling and buying products with recycled content you also save energy, resources and landfill space.
  • Check your tires regularly – properly inflated tires mean good gas mileage. For each gallon of gas saved, you save 20 pounds of carbon dioxide.
  • Use less hot water – reducing the amount use of hot water also reduce your house bills electricity and also in carbon dioxide emissions. Using cold water saves 500 pounds of carbon dioxide a year and using a low flow showerhead reduces 350 pounds of carbon dioxide.
  • Avoids products with a lot of packaging – preventing waste from being created in the first place means less energy wasted and fewer resources consumed.
  • Plant a tree – a single tree can absorb one ton of carbon dioxide over its lifetime.
  • Turn off electronic devices when not in use – simply turn off your TV, VCR, computer and other electronic devices can save each household thousand pounds of carbon dioxide each year.
